the big meeting we had on Sat. June 2nd. You can read the AAV Guidelines v.1 here: bbgunmilitia.proboards77.com/index.cgi?board=genair&action=display&thread=1181102937*edit* actually, matt didn't write about eyewear in v.1 but it was discussed at the June 2nd meeting and it was decided that if mesh goggles are worn, polycarb or other appropriate lenses must be worn underneath. we know that higher quality bb's generally wont shatter when they hit the mesh, but we cannot control the quality of the bb's that make their way onto the field. cheap bb's will shatter when they hit and cause serious problems. so we decided either lenses underneath or no mesh goggles.

From what I got, we decided we would need to test various kinds of mesh until we got a "guage" we were comfortable with. As a matter of fact, I don't feel comfortable enacting these new rules until all the rules are finished, edited, and finalized. Just my centavos M *edit* actually, matt didn't write about eyewear in v.1 but it was discussed at the June 2nd meeting and it was decided that if mesh goggles are worn, polycarb or other appropriate lenses must be worn underneath. we know that higher quality bb's generally wont shatter when they hit the mesh, but we cannot control the quality of the bb's that make their way onto the field. cheap bb's will shatter when they hit and cause serious problems. so we decided either lenses underneath or no mesh goggles.
