There has been some changes. We, Steel City Airsoft, has decided to move our business to Lenlock Hobbies. We want to support airsoft in Alabama. We will still continue bulk orders and they will be open to anyone interested. We have decided to change to another brand and the prices have changed but I hope you will like the changes. LH might have their own high quality BBs later on but more on that will come later.
PHX BBs come in these weights and amounts .20g 5000cnt .23g 4000cnt/ 3000cnt .25g 4000cnt/ 3000cnt .28g 4000cnt/ 3000cnt
Shipping and tax is not included and these prices are based on a bulk order of 10 bottle or more.
.20g $13.00...5000 .23g $12.75...4000 .25g $12.75...4000 .23g $7.75.....3000 .25g $8.75.....3000 .28g $8.75.....3000
these are the prices per BB by weight and amount before shipping and tax.
.20g 5000cnt $.0026 .23g 4000cnt $.0032 .23g 3000cnt $.0026 .25g 4000cnt $.0032 .25g 3000cnt $.0029 .28g 3000cnt $.0029
remember there will be an 8% sales tax and shipping added to these prices.

There is no need to deliver them by hand unless you prefer that way. And a game pickup isnt that bad of an Idea. On a different note, Matt why would we possibly need to know how much we pay per bb? That seems like the most unneccasary info ive ever been given

damn. i've already shot $0.13 worth at this guy. must conserve.
On a more related note: What is Lenlock Hobbies? A local shop of general hobby supplies, or do they do a range of products? Only outdoor? indoor too?

All that doesnt matter, what matters is they have AIRSOFT STUFF!!!! Good airsoft stuff, not like academy. This is the first in the state, like your airsoft atlanta, kabniel.

They started off as a typical hobby shop with ceramic, D&D, models, and RC kits long ago. Mongo and one of the owners sons spent a lot of time together (room mates if I remember correctly) and they are pretty good people. I know the owner thru his days from the military.
They have been a paintball supply link for the area (air, guns and balls) but have recently started to do airsoft. They can get most anything in, but last time I talked to them about prices on guns....they were still a little steep (15% higher than others) but I think this is due to being a new retailer and they have yet to find the right distributor or get a good line in for decent pricing....all part of business.
I think they should do real well in supplies however. I know Bosko has been looking at getting PHX stuff from them too.
Would be way cool to have them be here and be good! Alabama needs a good airsoft retailer! Lets support them in every way we can!

the reason I calulated the price of a BB i so that you can see the value per BB between the different amounts. ie, the 5000 of .20 is the same price per BB as the 3000 of .23 BBs.

Thanks man Yeah, when I first talked to Charles, we talked alot about how to price the guns. We have landed some great distributors, and we are working on getting a direct link for product directly from Asia, but, with the support of the Alabama Community, that should be a couple of months down the road. Since we can get just about anything at the moment, we decided to stock mid-level stuff and order in the higher stuff as needed for folks. I look forward to the day soon when we have 100 guns in the shop, and that, again will take a little time. For the game this weekend, We will have gas, bbs, guns, pistols, gears, springs, and rifles, mags, etc. We will be competivley priced. Maybe a few bucks here or there, but not 15% higher than anyone else. I will promise that we are taking a long view of the business, and plan on being the Alabama store as long as there is a need. It is also going to allow us to do rental guns at Dave's down the road, so it will help everyone. Now, no BS, I am not getting paid to do this. I am still on the disabled list from work, and just wanted something to do, as inactivity was driving me nuts. Again, down the road, when the dust clears, I am considering being in the biz with Charles professionally, but for right now, I just wanted folks to be able to get stuff in state, and help out an old friend at the same time. Sorry to use the bandwidth, I just wanted to let everyone know what was up with Lenlock Hobbies, and our airsoft retailing. As far as price goes, again, we may be $5 higher on an aeg, or $10, but you can always pick up the phone and call me, pm me, or come up to the store. As we gain better access to product and pricing, we will pass it down the line. Your bbs will arrive ups tomorrow. I will have them for the game. Wait until you see the new fort:) M
