To everyone playing this summer. A little advice on dealing with the heat. If you know you are going to be playing on a given day you should start hydrating a few days before. when you get a little de-hydrated while playing it is very hard to get re-hydrated. This past week end I pre-hydrated and played all day I drank water and Gatorade and I never got very thirsty.

I think acclimation goes along with that. If you sit in the air conditioning 100% of the time, then it only stands to reason the heat of summer in AL is going to knock you out. Make sure you give yourself a chance to get used to the heat. I had no problems at all Saturday. Then again, I think we got a break on the humidity.

I find that a Camelbak will work wonders for staying hydrated, but like they said, hydrate well in advance.

I've got a Camelbak M.U.L.E. and cleaning kit that I am thinking about selling if anyone is interested.
If anyone is interested I will post pictures. I am thinking about selling it all for $65.
