Operation Anaconda will fast paced mil sim game. It will pit small squads (2-9) against each other in various ways. There will be tons of missions. Respawns will be used to facilitate new squads with new missions as well as a chance to reload and refresh. There will be lots of battles and lost of tactical decisions to be made. The goal for this game is to make it as none stop as possible. There will be guard duty but these points will be of high value to the enemy so expect lots of action and replacements will not be long awaited. We will be playing on into the night. Each player playing at night will need a glow stick. Lunch will not be served and we will be playing through until dinner break. So pack an MRE or bag lunch and be ready to eat on the field. You can leave your lunch and packs at your FOB.
Items of high value for players:
Bug spray
Flashlight
Radio (there will be some issued to squad leaders but more is better)
Glow sticks (for night games)
Extra socks (there is a creek that will be crossed)
Lg Zip Lock bags (for feet)
Times:
SAT.
9:00am - registration - chrono opens
10:00am - Team/Squad break up
10:30am - Assignments issued and teams/squads take position
11:00am - Game ON
4:30pm - Dinner break (hamburgers/chips/coke) dinner tickets will be given at registration
6:30pm - Assignments issued and teams/squads take position
Night games will be played to an agreed time. If you are camping dinner break is a good time to set up.
SUN.
For those who want to spend the night there will be plenty of room for camping. The Op will end Sat night but the field will be open Sunday for pick up games.
Teams that want to stick together will need to pre-register as a squad. Email me your info and your team will be kept intact.
If you have a radio please bring it... It will help us make this the most interesting game you have ever attended.
Pyro will be allowed. However Smoke grenades and smoke bombs will not be allowed. But only after the safety briefing.
Chrono Limits will be 450fps for everyone. With a minimal engagement of 15 feet for rifles and 10 feet for pistols. Under this and you must have your rifle pointed at that person and BANG them out.
Magazine Limits: Hi caps will be allowed but only 1 or 2 on the field or as many low caps as you can carry. The reason for this is to and another realistic quality to the game. If you squad gets pinned down and or is attacking an objective ammo will get low. So re-supplying the team will add another mission to the game. That being said bb's will have to be set up at your FOB (separated in squads and labeled for each person) and will mean you must be on time to be properly setup.
Camo: any and all camo will be allowed. Teams will be designated by armbands (No they will not be red and blue)
Eye Protection: Fully sealed eye protection must be worn at all times.
This is the first big operation held by Panhandle Airsoft so after the game please let us know how we are doing and give us any suggestions you have. We want to give everyone a great place to play locally, and want this to become a regular thing every couple of months.
There will be teams from all over the state as well as GA and AL, so lets show them what we've go. But above all else lets play with honor...
