Okay..TM and A&K are not the same. Tokyo Marui is the high end $300 dollar gun, A&K is a china clone that cost about $99-$150 brand new.
I'm guessing since you got 300 bucks invested with all Systema parts it's the A&K version.

Well to be clear about this...Open up the booklet it comes with and it tells you right off the whole gun WAS produced by Tokyo Marui for A&K, it mentions Tokyo Marui products such as the tracer unit and how to install them along with a Knights silencer and the battery it comes with is a TM H Power. We all know that when things come from China everyone has their doubts. If you seen the gun you wouldnt believe it yourself. The reason it's cheap isnt the name or anything but if you see the list of upgrades then you know why....everything changed in the gun was b/c the pieces were not good quality compared to Systema. And if I'm correct someone from this site also mentioned their TM came with inferior parts such as plastic bushings which is why all the parts in the S System are now high grade parts. TM and A&K share everything in common with thier guns A&K just uses white plastic for the nozzle, spring guide, piston and cylinder. Now that I have all systema I think it will rival any TM out there!

So, your saying that A&K and TM are the same because of the paperwork that was included in the box when you bought it?

If it looks the same, feels the same, and shoots the same why does Country matter if it's a POS or not?? Metal is metal and plastic is plastic if A&K uses the exact same thing as TM does that still make it cheap b'c it wasnt made in Japan? Matter of fact and this to be very true.......ICS and Olympic Arms...same gun, different trades, different countries but OA owns ICS. Is it not possible that one can own another??? But as I said a person on this site said when they got a new TM and went to upgrade it it had pastic bushings and such in it...maybe it was a chineese TM clone???who knows.
By the way I only stated what is in black and white in the Intruction booklet and I posted that. If it makes everyone happy here on this site and all airsoft professionals I can happily remove this ad and say what I read is wrong.

see china has cheaper labor so that makes prices lower, same product for half the price. there are very few things that this country exports because it is more expensive to make the goods here. EX. You buy a cotton shirt for $10, and then you see the same shirt but cheaper. Why? because the one that was $10 was made here and the cheaper one was from mexico where labor is cheap.

Well, I would have to say that the materials china guns use are not as good of quality as say a tm. Although, Kija is correct about the labor thing. But in this instance it doesnt matter really because he has replaced most of the internals. Carry on.

Well, first off, I'm not debating the quality of current Chinese clones. I use them more often then my high end guns. But, I by no means fool myself by thinking they are the same quality. They're REALLY close, but there are subtle wobbles and creaks that are indicative of "cheap" labor practices.
But, nylon bushings are the industry standard. The steel bushing (6mm and 7mm) are the odd balls. The A&K is supposed to have a 7mm gearbox, with steel bushings. TM has Colt m4 trademarks. A&k has the cheap company trades and is know to break body tabs in less then two months. The gearbox on the a&k is reputed not to hold up the the stress of a m120 as long as a TM gearbox (this is above and beyond the current ver.2 gearbox weakness).
If I came off as a d**k, I'm sorry, I was just trying to figure out something that piqued my interest and would help to establish a price range (as I've been looking into getting a s-system for about 3 months now). ;D

Tripps no harm no foul buddy. I hate pouring $$$ into something and feel like someone rags me for it. But honestly next time were around and if I still have it your more than welcome to try it out. Friday night was the first time it was out in use...very limited use at that b/c the dark but it did get me one kill right off the bat. I have a few people wanting it b/c the ups in it. Tm M4 offer and a CA M15 but I am looking in on G&P metal body to go on it to replace that plastic body.
