Greetings all
We are opening up the ranch to open play every two weeks from now on. So, May 5th will be our first open date, come early, stay late, come have fun. Mapquest 1600 Cedar Springs Road, Weaver, AL, 36277 for directions)
Food will be catered, RSVP if possible, so you don't miss out. Menu choices to be provided pregame on this site. Those that wish to order some really good grub will be given the opportunity.
We will start at 11am and run until everyone has had enough. Field fee will be $10, to help establish the building fund.
Any Questions? Just holler.

What are the goggle rules? Full face, eyes only?
I'm waiting on a shipment from MN with all my goggles in it, so if it shows up Friday, I believe I would come down from Huntsville.

Okay not so many showed up today. Mongo and others worked on the field a little and the stuff they have in store sounds awesome.
Anyway it was just 3 of us to play today. 2 from Team Bosko and "the hostage guy" Kelly.
we played some capture the flag...predator and prey...free-for-all...and a couple of guard/infiltrator short games. After Kelly left, the 2 from team Bosko heated up things. We played some BIG PISTOL semi stuff in the bunkers (that is folding up the stocks on the G36s and using 1 hand to shoot) then we did some team tactics training around the bunker moving along road and down trails and such....5 gallon bucket bad guys! Next we moved down to the new CQB area and played about the one partial building present. We aligned the chairs into hostage and bad guys and did entry missions trying not to hit the hostage.
All in all I know we had tons of fun (it doens't take much to keep Bosko occupied) got in about 9 short games and we did some team training.

when will the work days be I am going out today for a awhile this afternoon, and will be splitting my time between Dave's and the shop. I will be out working to get ready for this game, and we still have a ton of material to get, Thanks to SHunter and Tyler for all the help yesterday. We made good progress in getting the latest find by psycho, which is a bnch of telephone poles and 5x5 post. YAYYYYY! Sorry about the turnout, sorry about he lack of organization. we announced open play, never dreaming we would be swamped with material. In the next few months, it is going to transform our field, but there will be growing pains. Thanks all for your continued support. M

Steel City was supposed to be there but Half of the team was away on business and the other 25% were at the crawfish boil, we'll definately be at the one on the 26th though.

The Crawfish boil would have been hard to pass on! Hey Mongo, don't worry about organization or lack of attendance....it didn't bother us at all! I think we had a barrel of monkeys! Plus we got finished....just in time to dodge most of the work! Mongo is right when he says that all this stuff will transform the field. They have TONS and TONS of stuff. We talked a lot with Wolfie about some of the changes already and those on the way.... MUCH GOODNESS!!!!!

also if any one from the bham area is going i have a favor to ask of of you. from Tuscaloosa to weaver is 2hours so could i possible meet someone in bham and get a ride there and back to bham, and get picked up by family member at said location? if so i would be most grateful. if not then i think still can go......
thanks.

You probly could, we would have to acess our car situation, because we are probly bringin more boys down than we normally do on the 26th, thats when the game is by the way. But we leave out pretty early usually so you would have to be up and attem and on time.
