Sorry, I have tried to contact them also, no luck.
It is cool to play local, I enjoy doing so, but I am also looking forward to traveling. It sounds like you need to hook up with big wheat or Nathan from Huntsville and maybe think about carpooling down sometime. In the near future we are talking about playing in Chattanooga, Dothan, and a few other places. If there is anyway we can help, as in provide information, contacts, etc, let me know. Otherwise, I am afraid there isn't alot we can do. We have almost 30 players coming this weekend, and I beleive that that number is going to grow in the coming weeks. Let me know if I can be of help.

I do not mean to be argumentative but I really rather not go to Anniston. I rather just play with Nathan in Huntsville. I am visiting family and drove 600 miles from North Carolina and I apollogise. I do not know how to contact nathan. Huntsville is so big I dont know where to look and who to call where to go and when.

There's no central site for contacting other airsofters- which was why this forum was created. Now it's just a matter of getting people here, and getting people posting. These things take time, of course.

That is the problem I see with the Regional Airsoft players. Just takes time to network.

Don't be discouraged...it's just a slow process...
Keep in mind our numbers waiver from 20+ at peak to 7 (which has become the standard).
Like any other hobby it just takes time to find committed players. It's also a fairly expensive one at that. There are very few Paintball fields that I know of in AL that also allow airsoft, so that cuts down on advertising directly, but things are getting better on the coast. If you guys stay strong, and that i'm sure you will, your area should blow ours away. Now if I can just get my wife to give me keys to the car i'll head up there and play.
Have money....

I'm hoping all of the groups, teams, and individuals- statewide- will start getting more and more into cooperating and playing against one another. That would definitely increase the overall potential in the hobby if once every couple of months or so we all got together to shoot at each other. A game of 20 on 20 would be awesome.

We have discussed having an OP here in Mobile at the Dirka field. This particular locale generates some of the best firefights we've ever had, so we love to share it on a regional scale. There's some kinks to it though...like site insurance ect.

How's it set up? Is it an actual airsoft field that someone owns and runs as a field, or is it some land that someone you know owns?

It's definately a great piece of property for airsofting...i'm working on some MINOR structure ideas. If you'd like we'll GLADLY host a regional game, provided I can get some insurance.

Right... so is it an "actual" airsoft field or just some property someone owns?
