Red Storm-The January Revolution Operational Overview for Anniston Game on 26/JAN Dave’s Combat Ranch
Camping is free, $5 to play $5 (or so, may be a slight change) to eat. Chrono and Registration will open Friday, 5 pm. For directions, please mapquest 1600 Cedar Springs Road, Weaver, AL, 36277 for directions ) Under 18 requires waiver signed by parent or guardian.
Hard line Communist have decided that the time is ripe to overthrow the Democratic Government of Russia and return the country to its former greatness as the Soviet Union. To achieve this, they have decided to send in a Spetnaz Team and launch a nuclear missile from the Ukraine into Russia, targeting the Kremlin during a joint session of the Russian Parliament. Communist troops stand ready on the outskirts of Moscow, ready to move in and restore order, and take over the government.
The Ukrainian facility is secured by a company of Ukrainian Guards, with a reaction force consisting of a motorized rifle battalion five miles away
Objective of Spetnaz: Capture Launch Codes, Launch Weapon, Extract.
Objective of Ukrainians: Guard Codes and Weapons at all cost.
Spetnaz will be made up of visiting teams totaling no more than 20% of available forces) Remaining forces to be folded into Ukrainian Forces, 4/20 KAAV will play the part of Ukrainians.
Each team will have a chance to act as OPFOR. No respawns allowed.
Points. The Ukrainian Forces achieve victory by preventing weapons launch and eliminating Spetnaz.
Spetnaz win if weapons are launched, and at least one member of team reaches extraction point.
Each OPFOR(Spetnaz) team will be timed to complete mission, best time wins.
Ukrainian Forces must secure Bunkers, Weapons Silos, and mount roving patrols, as they are not aware of any threat, just guard duty. Ukrainian forces can place no more than four men guarding codes, five men guarding launch control, with the rest being on patrol.
Second Scenario Putin Must Die
Simultaneously, Alexander Putin, President of Russia, is slated to speak to the Russian Parliament, but at the last minute, he receives intelligence that a coup may be under way. He decides to leave Moscow, and head for his secure dacha.
The Communist Forces assassination team will consist of 20% available forces, no respawn, victory dependent on assassination of Putin, and at least one OPFOR member making it to the extraction point.
Russian Government forces must prevent the assassination and eliminate the OPFOR.
No Respawns, OPFOR with best time wins.
Maps of Operational Area to Follow.

Are the No Respawns for Defenders and Attackers, or just attackers?

Hey all,
Just got this email on another forum, thought I would share it so I can clarify a question about the op, and give everyone a little additional information about the basis of the op.
Brother Warlordliness Supreme Commander of the Confederate Army Mongo....please to clarify some matters.
How long is each scenario?
If there are no reinforcements (call 'em respawns if'n ya like), are there medic rules? If not, do you mean to tell me that someone who drives 2 hours, 3 hours, etc. and then takes a single hit in a scenario, they have to sit and wait for the scenario to end before they can come back into play? Perhaps I'm missing something in my understanding.
Thanks!
Here is the clarification
What we would like to accomplish with the mission is a tournament type of op. Teams who would like to compete may come in mass, or pick up at the game. We form the teams and issue numbers to team by lottery first thing. Teams not running the mission will be folded into the guard units. 4/20 K AAV team members will be role playing in the scenario key positions, and leading the patrols. The patrols will not be actively hunting anyone, the guards of the codes and "missile" will be guarding the same stuff they have been guarding for five days a week, five years in a row. Special rules will be set up that hopefully will move the flow of each team's run to last thiry minutes at the most. The way the game will be set up, everyone participating will know exactly where each element exist. The key to sucess for the OPFOR will be to move quickly, avoid contact, target key personel, locate codes, launch missle.
The team with the lowest time will set the pace, and play will be reset with the next team when the standing lead time is exceeded. With a little luck, we can get the game reset in about ten minutes. This should allow us to run up to 8-10 teams through in about 5 hours. If it gets dark, and we have folks ready for more after supper, then we will run the assasination scenario, same rule set and organization.
Basically just wanted to run something a little different. I think we should offer more than enough trigger time to anyone who makes the trip. Okay, hope that clarifies it for you.
Just wanted to share the info.
