Original post follows: October 14th we will be conducting the first ever scenario based game at our home field. we will be unveiling some new stuff( new building's, bunkers props and effects) this game will include multiple objectives and night fighting. the game will begin at 1:00 in the afternoon and end at 9:00pm. there will be dinner served mid game. stay tuned for more info. we will post storyline soon but the missions and maps will not be available until 7 days before the event. the alabama guy's have confirmed as well as nashvilles spartans. hopefully red star brigade can make it. please pm me to confirm you are coming as soon as you can so I can get some numbers goin for teams, food and adjustments to mission plans. dont miss this one!
Will pass on specifics as they develop. Guys, if you haven't been to the ReconOne field, it is truly awesome. Check out the pics on The MilSporting News to get an idea of what they have accomplished, and come out and support them. They put on a helluva game.

Sounds awesome, can't wait to play up there again.
If you like, or have never tried cqb, they have a great course. Lots of stuff to get behind, or inside; and it really gives the feel of being a small town- with crazy, gun wielding, maniacs (who love to shoot you) populating it.
And for those of you coming from far away, I thuroughly enjoyed my time at Cloudland Canyon (Georgia State Park). Bathrooms and showers were very clean.

Yeah, I was just saying for the price of staying at the park, I would probably prefer to hang out at cloudland canyon, and drive down to the game, even if the owner allows camping. Showers, bathrooms, running water, electricty for $20 a night, 6 folks per site is just too awesome a price to pass up. I am for staying there, as it would give us a good shady place to hole up until the game starts on Sat. Just my opinion,

yea, may be a little more private up on the mountain. I have always loved that park. jimmy's cool, but how cool he is, I just don't know.
and to all coming, I live pretty close to the field(5 min), and if there is any way I can accommodate you, just let me know.

"Down the road a bit, take a left, about a 1/2 mile up you're at the field- it's on the right."
I think that about covers it, for directions from Cloudland Canyon, anyway.

They had a sign out there, last time- but it was facing away from the direction we came up on it, so drive kinda slowish.

I am very excited about coming to a new field. From what Mongo and Mihel have said about it, it sounds like a blast. Saint and I are doing our very best to be able to come. Right now I'm still not working so I am free, but it all depends on Saint's schedule. Hope to see you guys then. And if we do decide to come I will need someone who knows how to get there to give me directions, I don't trust Mapquest... They have gotten me lost to many times.
Thanks, Crash (Laura)

It's easy, you come off 59, you take a right, then a right, then a left, then a left, then a right; and you're at the field. Ta Da! ---
{edited to include actual directions}
You'll be going North on I-59.
You want the Trenton/Lafeyette Exit, I think it's number 11- be careful, as there is an old exit- with the sign still up- that leads you straight into some concrete barricades. You'll want the actual exit- the one with the overpass.
Once you come off I 59 you'll take a right (this is White Oak Gap Road) and go up to where the road dead ends into a grocery store and a gas station (about 1/4 mile or less). Take a right, which will put you on Main Street.
Almost immediately past the grocery store (there's a sign on the right hand side of the road, for Cloudland Canyon), take a left- this will be the FIRST left almost immediately after the grocery store's parking lot. You'll turn left only about 100 yards after you turned onto this road. You should, now, be on Lafeyette Street (136).
136 is actually all three of the streets you've been on so far.
You're gonna stay on this road for a while. Go all the way up the mountain- you'll pass cloudland canyon state park on your left- and then all the way back down. It's gonna be a while. Once you pass 193 (there's a gas station on the left hand corner, and some train tracks) N Marble Top Road will be the next road on the left.
Turn Left into N Marble Top Road, and go down about a mile and a hlaf, or two miles. It's not far after you make the two really sharp turns- one right after the other. Like I said, there was a sign out, last time- just go slow and you should see it. It's on the right hand side of the road.

Hey ReconOne, Nathan and I have just figured out a way to combine the family camping trip into a little Airsoft mayhem. Count us in on the fun planned for October 14th. We may also have one of Nathan's friends with us but that is not a definite.
And to all of you Dave's Ranch regulars camping at Cloudland Canyon we plan to camp there Saturday night. See ya there.

At the game in Chattanooga, Saturday - Oct. 14th, a friends son walked back to what he thought was the car he came in, and put his gun in the back seat. To say the least, it was someone else's car and it was gone when he walked back with his older brother to leave. It was a car that had parked behind or beside their car and looked similar in the dark. He is killing himself over this. It is a G&G UMG, with a hi-cap mag. and a very good battery. Please check your backseats and if you find it email me. I will find a way to pick up the gun. He made an honest mistake, and we would like to let him know it is safe and that he will be getting it back soon.
