I have a parrot. I also have a cat and a doberman. My parrot terrifies both of them. He bit the cat on the tail and the Doberman on the ear. He also screams "F*#k You" when he is angry.

Um, because it was a response to a PET thread. Let me know if you need any more clarity on the situation.

No, the parrot is VERY pampered. I tend to curse a lot and the parrot picked up my emotion when I say certain words. He has an extremely high vocabulary (60 + words) and mimics my voice well. He has fooled Mongo and his lovely lady a couple of times. They knocked on my door and the parrot invited them in.
He is SMART! He realized that when the phone rings, I go to get it. Thus, he now makes a ringing sound to get me to come in the room. He also carries on phone conversations with himself that he has heard. He has a fantastic memory. He has the mind and emotions of a three year old and occasionally throws temper tantrums.

Guys, this bird is so cool. He doesn't like guys much. He is VERY protective of Allison, but very cool.

It is a Citron Cockatoo. I like your suggestion, Valeck. I'm going to start saying that to him so he'll pick it up. When my mom and grandmother 'birdsat' for me while I was away at an SCA event, the bird picked up "I gotta pee" from hearing granny say it.
