Notice how the foot on the left is smooth, and has a definite line to it. Notice how the foot on the right has a large hump? That's cause the swelling hadn't finished, yet. It started on the right side of my foot- near the ankle- and extended to the top of my foot near the base of the second toe. (The dark area behind the ankle on the right foot is a 2 year-old bruise, it's not part of what happened). These were a little later. Here you can see the difference better. Both feet are in the same basic position: verticle, with the big toe extended backwards as far as possible. As best I can tell, my right foot was asleep and I placed all my weight on it. My knee touched the ground in front of my toes- that's probably when I passed out. I was basicly asleep when it happened, but I don't remember a coherent flow of time- so I think I must have blacked out for a second or twelve. Either way, that's why I didn't go to Chattanooga.

Went to the doctor Friday, he's already told me I need 6 - 9 sessions with a physical therapist. Apparently, I've torn a ligament. I have to go back Friday, where he will tell me I have torn more than one- I suspect. Either way, I won't be able to play again until January.
