yeah your right about the gear stripping. its funny tho b/c echo1 puts ca gears in there models that "failed" the tests that ca does to ensure there gears are good. so i dont totally understand why ca gears strip and echoe1s gears dont. just remember if you get a ca either have mony saved up to put in new gears or make sure that your gears are shimmed and lubed up. ask tripps if you need any more info cuz he was a ca aug that has lasted him a year and ca aug are infamus for gear stripping.

it has happened to me, v2s are poorly designed. I understand tm's have nylon bushings, but that doesnt mean that CA is better. I think you are a little one sided because you possibly own a CA. I have had CA boxes crack on me too. I have had a 40 day old CA with about 6000 rounds through it strip two teeth of a gear. So I think that tm's are better quality but you dont get the extra metal like with a CA. Theres a trade off.

I understand tm's have nylon bushings, but that doesnt mean that CA is better. . I have fallen victin to the nylon bushing in the TM. Stripped ALL the gears. Other than the barrell wobble(TM m4 variant, plastic body=barrell wobble. metal barrel ring and gorilla glue, no more barrel wobble), it is a solid gun. M

Echo 1 are not the best and not the worst. The reason Kac says the gearbox is not "openable" is b/c that Mp5 came with some plastic weld or glue stuff on the body preventing one from getting into the gearbox...I know I tried to get into the gear box of that MP5.....

Also with the TMs I have held.....most have a bad body....I have a CA M15A4 like Kac...yes my gears stripped..but I am getting Systema renforced steel high torque gears....and prb a better motor. However, I started having problems with my CA after I put a M120 spring in it...my battery was also WAY to powerful for what I had done to it.....a downgrade in the battery along with the new gears and motor should fix all problems with it.
