OK I have just entered into this hobby and I think I made a rookie level mistake I purchased a wellsfire R-8 , I have used now for a month for 5-6 hours a day every Saturday I'm using .20's and getting about 50-70 feet range (40 feet accurately) did i get owed or is a good gun for a starter?
I know I want TM P-90 (i have always wanted one sense Golden eye on the N64)
any advice would be help full
also my orange Saftey tip/cap of my sniper rifle fell off do you need this after you buy it, like for tournaments, or do i need to go and get some orange enamel for it to make it legal to use

I made a cardboard muzzle cover and covered it with orange duct tape. That way, when I travel, I have an orange tip, as required by law. Then just whip it off, and no bright orange in the woods.
As far as your gun, the Well G3 SAS was my first gun. I still have it. I loan it out all the time and shoot neigborhood cats in the act of mating.(Only kidding)
Not to preach here, but the most important thing you can do is not to have your gun out of the house if you live in town. Bad press continously about the replicas, cops hate them, and I feel like folks are just looking for a reason to ban them. Don't give them a reason, be smart.
Gotta go cook

For anyone concerned about the Blaze Orange Tip Requirements: Do not have your weapons in visable site while in transport without the tip. It is not illegal to have the blaze tip covered or removed while in an individuals posession, but it is illegal to transport one without it. This means the rifle in your trunk can get you arrested if they find you don't have the tip. But in your yard or on the field it's legal to remove / cover it. www4.law.cornell.edu/uscode/html/uscode15/usc_sec_15_00005001----000-.htmlUS Code Title 15 Chaper 76 Section 5001 spells out the federal requirements, some states have additional requirements and restrictions.
