hey, i now have money to get a new airsoft gun, huza!
i am looking at 3 different guns(g36c, ak47,famas) and my question is! say for example i happen to drop/fall on or in any other way crack/break the body of the gun, and the internals are still good, where would i go to find a new body? i have done some searches but have failed to find any thing on this, except for the ak47(which has many other bodies and steel parts). any help on this would be great as it will influence my purchase.
thanks

i think King Arms makes a lot of metal bodies for different guns. Check out Redwolfairsoft.com.

You would probly have to buy the famas and g36 bodies used off of airsoftretreat.com or something like that.

g36 is plastic in real life so the chances of finding a metal body is a tough one. Finding oringinal plastic bodies shouldn't be an issue but if you want to just slap a metal one on some random companies product you may have compatibility issues. my advice is to save you money and go with a TM or a CA.

I prefer classic army because it come slightly upgraded out of the box and they arent stingy with the metal parts. But I would get the ak out of the three, but you really dont have to worry about the body cracking as much as the whole front end of the gun snapping off. So a g36 would be the best bet in that area.

Well, The famas is reputed to be made of industrucilibrium....but it's hard to find parts for. As for the AK, you have a full run of parts and body options, as it's super common. The g36 is also pretty popular but not as much after market stuff is available.
As for what brand, they both have their pro's and con's. CA you could rock it right out the box and wouldn't have to do anything to besides throw a spring in it. TM's ...well there well know, right? ICS is actually makes a good product now, their anniversary M4's are amazing! Don't know about the ak they make though....

if you have the money go with CA. If you don't care about metal or pre-upgrades, I've heard Tm is a better gun. CA is more "US" field ready. TM is still digging their ditch with the Japanese market. (AKA... they don't pre-upgrade and use metal bodies.)

I have a CA metal body for my AK beta (same body as full AK), and it's superb.
