Just wanted to introduce myself. I am new to airsoft, but not new to the milsim aspect of it so much. I'm hoping to be able to make it for the game toward the end of the month. Im looking at getting a CA MP5-SD5, and just wondering if this gun would have a decent enough range to be effect at your location. Thanks

Hey man, glad to have you on. As far as the CA mp5, Damn straight it will have the range. It will come out of the box at around 300 fps. Our field has lots of dense woods, so engaement ranges tend to be short. The mp5 offers alot of advantages, but the best one is Mags are cheap, parts are cheap, because they have been around forever, and everyone makes parts for the guns. You might want to go ahead and get an m120 spring and a 9.6v battery for it. That combo will get that gun close to 400 fps, which is right were our legal limit for AEG's is at.
Welcome, and if you need any info about the event, just let us know.

Will do. I'm going to order it today I guess. Just wondering, is Depot 53 a decent place to order from?

Got my MP5 yesterday, yay. It met my expectations so far. I haven't had a chance to adjust the hop-up yet, but it seems fairly strong. I was putting holes in a beer can from about 10 feet away. Anway, when I get a better chance to fool with it, i'll let ya know more.
