The AAV is the Alabama Airsoft Volunteers basically its the network team in Alabama. Like we are Steel City Airsoft AAV. Mongo's team is 4/20 AAV. I think you are inquiring about 4/20. But I might be wrong about this, ask Mongo or one of the other 4/20 guys. Mateba knows he is a part of Steel City and 4/20 so he would be the one to ask.

Rugia, we all were at one point noobs at airsoft. The advice the guys are giving you is so that you can avoid going through the hard stuff. I personally learned everything the hard way. Cause im stubborn. Someone tried to tell me but i just thought they wanted to pretend to know it all. But they were trying to save me some grief. Heres some tips that can get everyone off your case about spelling.
Use periods at the end of every sentence. Use capital letters at the beginning of every sentence. Make complete thoughts and make sure your sentence flows smoothly, you may know what you meant, but sometimes others can decipher it
I make these mistakes myself, i just have to slow down.
As for the AAV thing, there might be an age limit. It was thinking like 16 or something, i dont know someone help me out here.
But you also have to share the same guidelines as the rest of AAV, such as FPS limits and minimum engagement distances. I dont know someone thats been involved alittle longer can give you the run down.

We got some really simple rules
415 fps max on aegs. This is not a random number, so let me tell you how we got to this.
m120 spring, 9.6v batt, tightbore barrell will take most stock aeg's to the number listed above. Supplies optimum power, ROF, and accuracy without totally knocking skin from bone.
550 for snipers, semi auto, med of 75 feet.
Impact proof eye coverings. Mesh, goggles, or glasses. Any question and we will test them by fire.
Suggested: Cover your face and ears with at least a bandanna. You will be happy you did.
TP grenades are allowed
No blind firing.
Be nice.
If anyone wants to be a member of our team, we just ask that you come hang out, be honest, and agree to some basic attendance regulations, then we will do a team eval and vote on you. No muss, no fuss, no gun or uni requirements, but we ask you do score some flecktar.
That is about it.

In the future i will try to make my statements flow a little better. as for the age limit I'm 17 and I'm going to be 18 in sept. so that would be bad if there is one.

Why would it be bad if there was an age limit even if it were 16 you are able to be a part of it.

We usually say 16, however, if someone was a bit younger, and their parents came out and participated with them or came to the event, then I would not have a problem with players that are younger, it just depends on the person. I have played with some great younger players, and I have played with bad younger players. Just like adults, some good some bad, just have to take things case by case.
