so i was reading the forums and somebody mentioned a state roster.i think it would be an awesome idea like we could split the stae into companies and break each company down into squads.
anybody think this would be a good idea?
this way,new guys can come on and see what squads are in what areas and when bama boys go to other states we could go in companies

Well, i started one kinda. But like if we ever go to OPs out of AL then we could go as Steel City Terror Operatives. Kinda like a combine team name thing. And plus it sounds cool.

The Steel City Immortals...That sounds so badass. As I recall I think a put forth the immortals as one of our team names back in the day. Way before 300.

AAV fills that role. Alabama Airsoft Volunteers is a state wide airsoft team. Units are divided up by physical location. If a player were to move to another area where a preexisting unit resided they could immediately fall into their ranks. AAV is trying to increase their numbers for several reasons. One is to make some aspects of airsoft universal among units and around the state. Another benefit is organization, lead by an elected CO AAV is lead by one man. You have all met him, his name is Mongo. When we travel to a large op we present ourselves as a unified body (AAV) that can is identified by unit or squad (420 K or SCA 3/75). We should talk to Mongo about this.
