GREAT GAME, Everyone! I had a blast, and I'd like to thank everyone for coming, once again. Thanks also to Airsoft Revolution for coming out, I know a lot of us were happy to be able to buy our BBs, or whatever else, on site.
We did have a few issues, due to the sketchiness of radio communication, and other problems- which we have now identified and started trying to correct.
Thanks again for coming out; and we should be seeing a majority of you guys and girls at other games in the next month or two.
Also, don't forget our monthly October game is coming up very very soon. Keep an eye out for more details on that one, (should have a date and time in the next week).
So, thanks again, is was great seeing all of you, and meeting some new people- Stabby, Has, Savoy, Mac, etc
See ya next time.

Hey guys,
Just want to say thank you to all of you guys for taking the time and energy to come out. I want to thank all of the players, because I did not hear, not once "That bastard is not calling". The issue we did have were minor, and it seems the involved parties were able to resolve what minor problems we had by being mature and discussing those issues.
I felt the scenario game went clunky, but I can also see how we can improve it and take out some of the clunk factor. I believe that fog of war will always cause problems, and I also believe that nothing will ever go EXACTLY as planned, but I think for our first try at something ambituous, we did fairly well. I do want some specific feedback on a couple of things we tried, and I want everyone's honest opinion. I will make a couple of observations also.
Floating Spawn. Couple of players loved it, others said there were problems. I think we could use this system in larger ops, but the ref/spawn officer needs to be a non-player. Still in camo, still may be shot, but I feel it would offer better control and allow the spawn point to move in a better manner. Also, this would allow the ref/SO to determine the best point for the spawn and group the casulaties there. This was actually Tom's observation, and we agreed it may be the solution.
Too Complicated? Was the secondary mission of retrieving the gas canisters too much? I just wanted to add a "suprise" type mission add on, thought that might do it. Unfortunately, Mihel and I got our wires crossed, so I was telling folks the wrong location of the gas cannisters. One was found anyway, so it worked out, just hated to have that foul-up.
Pilot role play. More or less, give your opinion.
Communications. We needed a radio with a scan/transmit feature, and in my opinion, two more radio operators. (If anyone has a suggestion on a suitable radio, please post it.) That would take too many folks out of the game, so please, suggestions. I feel for an operation to work, there must be a central command kinda "chessboarding" the scenario. Maybe have two commanders and a moderator playing chess with multiple objectives? I will have to think about that one.
Eight more players. I was again, off on numbers, but I count folks that are telling me they are coming, so it is difficult. If we had had one more team of indigenous, it would have fleshed out the scenario considerably. I feel we should have had an alternate plan allowing for "shortening" the map in case of lower than expected turnout. If that had been in place, maybe we could have ran a tighter scenario.
I feel we did an adequate job, with lots of room for improvement. We now have a basis to build on, so I feel the next op will probably offer a brand new set of things to work out, but at least we have something complicated under our belts. Experience is the best teacher if you can learn from your mistakes.
I want to thank everyone who attended, and please feel free to PM with any ideas on field improvement, game improvement, or just were we need to work on our facility and games. Obviously our field has tons of potential, and we are looking for ways constantly to improving it. Your suggestions on building techniques and materials would be greatly appreciated.
I want to thank Dave, and Cathy for having us all out to invade their land again, and for cooking a great supper for us all.
Without you guys, players and friends, nothing would be possible, so thank you all, we will see you soon, and if you traveled to our game, we owe you one, see you soon.
