It's a bad a$$ little package. I've used it as a loaner on a couple occasions and can say that it's very reliable and quite a powerful little gun for being stock. The hop-up works VERY well (I've heard CA has had past problems with their hop units). If I had the money I'd buy it in a instant! But, alas, I do not!

Is it all of the CA hop-ups, or just the ones they use on their m16 variants? I never was 100% on that issue...

to be perfectly honest....I don't know. I heard some say it's all of them and some say it was just the m15 line. It looks like the problem has been fixed on the m15's I've handled. My AUG hop is a little scetchy sometimes (it was like this BEFORE I fiddled with it...hence the fiddlein!)

I've got an m15a4 and I need to shim the hopup next time I feel like opening the receiver.

yea, just a shim under that adjusting gear will do it.
not sure about the other CA AEGs, only heard of the m15 having issues

I haven't had any problems with the hopup on my MP5-SD5. It worked really well ranging in at 40 feet, and 60 feet. Setting up for 60 feet also had good accuracy at 20 feet bot stationary and moving. I was suprised how accurate it was while moving at pretty good speed on rough terrain. Should be excellent for cqb. Has good range at 100 feet + as well. From Over 100 feet I was still able to hit inside the red square on a basketball goal with ease.
